Cow Friends

Buy with Pay Pal (8x10 in.)

I painted these cows for another dailypaintworks challenge.  My first time to paint cows close up and it was a lot of fun!  It wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be.   Been busy getting ready for the school year and it was so fun to paint again today!

Window Box

Buy with Pay Pal! (8x10 in.)

I painted this picture from another photo I took while walking around my neighborhood in Norman.  I was drawn to the shadow across the house and window.  Plus, who doesn't like a beautiful window box?

Seaside Escape- Sold

I did this painting for another one of the challenges on dailypaintworks.com (http://www.dailypaintworks.com/challenge/the-seaside-challenge/321)  Our challenge was to paint a seaside of our choosing or we could use the photo that was provided.  I chose the photo that was provided because I thought it was such a pretty scene.

Old Truck- Sold

I painted this truck from a photo that I took on a walk the other day.  It looked like a lot of fun to paint and I was also drawn to the light and shadows on the truck.  Thankfully my daughter took a 2 hour nap today and I was able to paint it from start to finish!

I have so many things I want to paint right now.  Hope I have time to paint again tomorrow!

Little Blue House and Plate of Limes

This house caught my eye as I was driving to get my bangs trimmed this morning!  So I snapped a picture of it on my way home and just finished painting it during my daughter's nap.  It's the second house that I've painted and they have a been a lot of fun!

I painted a plate of limes yesterday but don't love the way it turned out.  It was going well until I started the plate.  I have a hard time painting white dishes.  Anyone have any tips?

Yellow House

Snapped a picture of this house in my neighborhood earlier this week and couldn't wait to paint it!  I love houses like this with so much charm and character.  It was really fun to paint and I'm looking forward to painting some other houses soon.  I'll be in Texas visiting my family for the next few days but will get back to painting early next week!

Snuggled Up

SOLD (6x6 in.)

These are the limes that I painted yesterday.  One of my favorite things about painting is that there are so many different things to paint!  I named this one "Snuggled Up" because they seem so cozy together with the little bowl.
