#284 The Colorful Challenge

I've been wanting to paint cantaloupe for awhile and this challenge on Daily Paintworks seemed like a great opportunity!  I always enjoy painting cranberries and cherries.  I also enjoyed painting the pink glass bottle.  It was my first time to paint it.  The transparency of the pink was little challenging.  Wish it was looser and not completely sure about the composition.

Painting mugs is always a challenge for me.  I'm really happy with how this one turned out though.  I'm having so much fun painting warm, rich colors lately.  This one sold at Holiday on the Farm last Saturday.

For this painting, I didn't use a light.  I only used the candlelight and the ambient lighting in the room.  It was a fun challenge.  Especially capturing the candle as it burned down!
