#283 Pomegranate and Sparkle

I really enjoyed painting this one.  It was my first time to paint a pomegranate.  They are such a pretty color!  Also really enjoyed painting the gold ornament.

#276 Persimmons on White

SOLD (6x6 inch oil)

This somewhat simple painting just makes me happy and was a lot of fun to paint.  I included a view of it from the side below because I painted on a deeper canvas than usual.

#275 Persimmons and Green

Click to buy! (8x8 inch oil)

I bought these persimmons at Sprouts over the weekend.  I think I was a little overly ambitious with the composition...especially since I started and finished the painting late at night!  It was tricky getting the values dark enough on the bowl and on the persimmons.  Took a few attempts.
