I am so glad I did the 30 in 30 Challenge again! Not only did I have a lot of fun painting (most...ha!) of these paintings, but I grew in some skills and met some fun people along the way. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to check out my art. Your encouragement meant a lot!
One thing I learned more about was making better compositions in my paintings. I received some feedback (that I sought out) and the artist suggested that I work on that area. I really appreciated the help! I still have a lot to learn about it, but I am being more thoughtful about it now. I also learned that I do better when I make a careful drawing in the beginning. Sometimes I get to impatient and ignore a poor drawing. That always leads to frustration.
Since the 30 day challenge, I have painted a couple of commissions. I'll post those tomorrow. What's next? Well my husband and I are actually going on a vacation to Florida! So I won't be painting for the next week or so. I'm sure it will take me a few days to get back into the swing of things once I return. I think I might explore some more florals next...or maybe I'll get some new inspiration during our travels!
