I attempted to paint this apple twice yesterday. I didn't really like the first attempt (below) so I tried again. I like how this one turned out. I've painted apples slices a couple of times, but it was still hard to figure out the values shifts. I'm not sure that I got it quite right, but it was a good learning experience.
