I painted this on Friday night. It actually went pretty quickly, which surprised me. I love Anne Ward's paintings and this was inspired by her. She has many backlit bouquets painted in her yard. I think this will be my last experiment with hydrangeas for awhile! I had to sort of make up the background. It was my house in the background, which is brick so that gave me the direction for how I painted it.
